Director of Software Development Cloud, Virtualization, Device-to-Cloud

They are hiring a Director of Software Development to drive software architecture development. The Director of Software Development will primarily oversee the software engineering of cloud-native applications designed to enable powerful on-demand connectivity solutions. Extensive support resources and a team of highly trained support staff to assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives.   Focus: Define and execute software architecture strategy for cloud-native wireless connectivity solutions, including features for wireless access, smart network management, and device-to-cloud. Work with the team to develop intelligent features and scalable cloud applications. Coordinate internal/external software engineers, including offshore vendors. Set goals, manage performance, and hire additional personnel as necessary. Run meetings with vendors and clients when necessary. Lead design reviews and conduct requirements analysis. Oversee testing methodology and bug fixes. Manage escalations. Provide regular reports to management and clients on features, budget, and timeline. Develop expertise in cloud platforms, wireless infrastructure, and mobilenetworks.   Skills: 8+ years of experience managing IT projects at a high level, with advanced experience managing software design in an Agile SDLC environment. Strong skills in team leadership, interviewing, coaching, and managing internal/external teams. Technical proficiencies: Cloud-native applications (design, scaling, platforms) Public cloud (AWS) APIs (RESTful) HetNet and mobility (3GPP, IEEE, 4G standards) IP networking RAN management Network automation MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL Programming languages (Python, C, JavaScript) are a plus. Customer-facing skills; able to meet with vendors, end users, and clients. Understanding of the wireless/telecom market, including industry trends, emerging technology, and competitors. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills. PMP is a plus. Some travel.
Salary Range: $170K - $200K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
